The Birmingham Giants 7u Baseball team collected another championship on saturday in Cullman, posting a 4-0 record, and raising their season record to 12-3. In game 1, the Giants were matched up with Juice Baseball. After jumping out to 4-2 first inning lead, the Giants eventually cruised 16-8 win behind hits from Cohen Thompson (3, 1 2B), Keston Beck 2, 1 2B), Brody Flack (2), Rian Eatmon 3 , 2 2B), Ross Christy (2), Marcus Bryant (2, 1 2 2B), Brady Jenkins (1), Connor Dockery (1), Brayden Stephens (1), and  Jason Green (1).

With the win in game 1 of pool play under their belts, the Giants faced off with the Speed. After scoring 16 runs in their first game, the Giants matched that feat, scoring 16 more in the 16-10 win. At the plate the Giant offense was led by, Cohen Thompson (1), Keston Beck (3), Brody Flack (3), Rian Eatmon (1), Ross Christy (3), Marcus Bryant (3), Brady Jenkins (3), Connery Dockery (1), Zander Lehman (3), and Brayden Stephens (3), all who had hits for the Giants. The win marked the Giants as the #1 seed going into bracket play for the 3rd tournament in a row.

In their first game of bracket play, the Giants were agin matched with the North Alabama Blaze. Cohen Thompson (3), Keston Beck (1), Brody Flack (3), Rian Eatmon (2), Ross Christy (3), Marcus Bryant (2), Brady Jenkins (1), Conner Dockery (1), Zander Lehman (2), Jason Green (1), and Brayden Stephens (1), who’s extra innings hit drove in the winning run, sending the Giants to the championship game, with an 12-11 win.

In the Championship, the Giants again squared off with Power Athletics. Cohen Thompson (1) Keston Beck (2), Brody Flack (3), Rian Eatmon (3), Ross Christy (1), Marcus Bryant (2), Brady Jenkins (1), Conner Dockery (2), Zander Lehman (1), Brayden Stephens (1), and Jason Green (1) led the Giants offense to a 11-4 win and another tournament championship.

The Giants play tonight in Haleyville.
