7u Birmingham Giants Midnight Madness Champions

The Birmingham Giants 7u ran their season record to an impressive 16-3 on the season, adding 4 more wins Friday night in Haleyville in winning their latest tournament. In game 1 of pool play, the Giants took on the Hits squad from north Alabama. In the 17-3 victory, hits came from Cohen Thompson ( 3, 2 HR), Keston Beck (3, 1 2B), Brody Flack (3, 1 HR), Rian Eatmon (2B), Ross Christy (2 2B), Marcus Bryant (HR), Brady Jenkins (2), Conner Dockery (1), Zander Lehman (2), Brayden Stephens (1), and Jason Green (HR).

 

 

In game 2 of pool play,matching up with Juice Baseball, the Giants offense put up 21 more runs, winning easily 21-6. Cohen Thompson (4, 1 2B, 1 HR), Keston Beck (2, 1 2B),  Brody Flack (2, 1HR), Rian Eatmon (3, 1 3B, 2 2B)Ross Christy (3, 1 HR), Marcus Bryant (3, 1 3B, 1 HR), Brady Jenkins ( 2 2B), Conner Dockery (1), Zander Lehman (2, 1 2B), Brayden Stephens (1), and Jason Green (2) all had hits for the explosive Giants offense. The win sent the Giants into bracket play as the 2 seed.

 

In their first game of bracket play, the Giants took on the Hits Baseball . With another 17 run out put, the Giants offense powered them to another win, this time 17-7. Cohen Thompson (2, 1 3B, 1 2B), Keston Beck (2, 1 2B), Brody Flack (3, 1 2B, 2 3B),  Rian Eatmon (2, 1 HR), Ross Christy (2, 1 3B), Marcus Bryant (2, 1 2B), Brady Jenkins (1), Conner Dockery (2), Zander Lehman (2), and Brayden Stephens (2) led the offensive output for the Giants. The win moved the Giants into a championship game, again, this time against the Tupelo Rangers.

Including the championship game, the Giants out scored their opponents 70-23, after winning the Championship game 15-7. Cohen Thompson (3, 1 HR), Keston Beck (2, 1 2B, 1 3B), Brody Flack (2, 2 2B), Rian Eatmon (, 1 2B), Ross Christy (3, 1 2B, 1 HR), Marcus Bryant (2, 1 2B), Brady Jenkins (2), Conner Docker (2, 1 2b), Zander Lehman (3 , 1 3B) and Brayden Stephens (2) led the way as the Giants wrapped up another tournament win.
