The Birmingham Giants are proud to announce that 2 more players from the organization made their respective middle school teams. Hunter Garcia, (Moody Middle School) and Preston Jones (North Jefferson Middle) both became the latest giants to enter the school baseball ranks, continuing the tradition of Giants who have achieved the same honor.

Giants coach Rob Kersey said” We are very proud and excited for both players, they are both great kids and huge pieces for the Giants”

With the move from a travel ball team to a fledgling College Development program this season, the Giants have geared the organization to the development of players for not only the high school level, but the collegiate levels as well, and have moved to partnerships that will aid their players in their goal of playing on the highest level possible for them.

The Birmingham Giants have a unique blend of players from around the state of Alabama, who have all bonded to become a pretty close group. Coach Greg Garcia said” This is a very unique situation with a very unique group of players, that all just seem to like each other on and off the field, very rare”.
