The 05 Birmingham Giants after finishing 2nd in their first tournament of the fall, came home champions, finishing first in their championship, running through the tournament field with a 4-0 record. In their first game of pool play the Giants were matched up with Full throttle 06. Avery Boyle started the game in the circle, allowing just 1 hit over 3 innings, while striking out 6, picking up the victory. At the Plate Ella Kate Coker (2), Nichole (2), Avery Boyle (1), Ella Morgan Sears (HR), and Naia Smith (1) all has hits in the 9-0 win for the Giants.

Mallory Sluder started the Giants 2nd pool play game in the Circle, striking out 4 in 1.2 innings of work, before Anna Morgam Shelton closed out the final out of the 11-3 win. Offensively, Mallory Sluder (1), Caroline Spruiel (1), Talley Redding (2B), Brittian Burnette (2), Mary Lynden Pressley (1), and Naia Smith all had hits producing 11 runs in the victory. The win seated the Giants first going into bracket play.

In their first bracket play game, the Giants were matched up with Full Throttle 06. A 9 run first inning, allowed the Giants to cruise to a 13-0 win. Anna Morgan Shelton struck out 6 over 3 innings, allowing just 2 hits and offensively hits came from Ella Kate Coker (1), Nichole Dockery (1), Avery Boyle (3B), Mallory Sluder (2, 1 2B), and Mary Lynden Pressley (1). The win moved the Giants into the championship game to again face Aftershock.

Avery Boyle started the game in the circle, striking out 1 in her 1 inning of work, and Anna Morgan Shelton struck out 5 in her 2 innings of work as the Giants who trailed at the start of the final frame came roaring back to pick up the 6-5 win. At the plate Ella Kate Coker (1), Nichole Dockery (1), Mallory Sluder (1), Caroline Spruiell (1), Talley Redding (1), Anna Morgan Shelton (1), and Ella Morgan Sears (3B), who’s triple tied the game in the last inning and then scored the winning run on a passball.
